Happy Holidays from Bomb-Omb. What did you think of this year in terms of gaming? Personally, I consider 2009 an above-average year, it had some great highlights, but was a bit scattered. 2010 promises to be even better with Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid Other M, and maybe (just maybe) the Zelda game designed around the Motion Plus, just to name some big titles from Nintendo.

If you enjoyed Mega Man 9 and it’s awesome box art like I did, then you’ll be excited about the totally rad announcement of Mega Man 10 and it’s box art! Mega Man 10 follows in 9’s footsteps, retaining that tried and true 8-bit NES style. So just right there I’m sold, but take a closer look at this art (higher res here). It’s got all those flaws the old box art did. Mega Man has an arm cannon (on the correct arm this time) but has some sort of laser gun. Proto Man looks like Shredder from TMNT, Sheep Man at the left, a robot dragon with tit guns, and Dr. Wiley’s castle mounted akwardly on some sort of space ship. Pure win.

Dear Capcom, make this box available for purchase! It doesn’t have to come in an NES cart like the Mega Man 9 press kit did. Just a DVD case inside the NES case would suffice. Pleeeeeeeease?
