Nintendo Download 3

You know what game I always liked for some odd reason? The paper plane game in Wario Ware Inc on GBA. Just a simple game really, it’s so unforgiving and demands precision and fast reflexes, and that’s why it was awesome. Well… guess what.

For DSi Ware this week we get another batch of card games in Clubhouse Games Express: Card Classics and Paper Airplane Chase

For WiiWare Neko Entertainment brings Cocoto Platform Jumpter, which scare the hell out of me.

For the VC we get an SNES oddity called Nobunaga’s Ambition, which is apparently to conquer all of fuedal Japan!

As an added bonus to help celebrate the recent launch of the new Nintendo DSiā„¢ system, Club Nintendo members now will be able to earn coins for registering, linking and providing feedback about their Nintendo DSi systems. They also will be able to earn coins for providing feedback about Nintendo DSiWare titles, which will be automatically registered on their Club Nintendo account when they link their Nintendo DSi Shop to their Club Nintendo account.

Nintendo Download 2

Dr. Mario. That’s a game that I both love and hate. I have this unatural attraction to games that kick my ass. That’s why I own games like Dr. Mario, Super Ghouls and Ghosts, and Mystical Ninja on the VC. And now I can torture myself on the DSi.

This week for the DSiWare library Dr. Mario Express perscribes pain while Master of Illusion Express: Deep Psyche teaches you how to scam your friends.

On WiiWare Crystal Defenders R1 appears from Square Enix in a Crystal themed action game.

Then on the Virtual Console Sega Genesis revives Wonder Boy II: Monster Lair for another challenge to save the world from chaos.

Watch the DSi Take Itself Apart

Curious to see what the DSi is like on the inside? Sure you are. So why not take a look at this entertaining stop motion video of one being taken apart and put back together again?

Nintendo Download Update!

I have a sort of dilemma here. Since the launch of the Wii I’ve been numbering the weeks the VC has been updated. It’s up to #120 now! Then WiiWare came along and I made that a seperate update, but soon added in with the VC. But now that the DSi is out and with it bringing its own digital download service the old title is getting pretty long! Apparently Nintendo feels the same way and they’ve decided to rename their updates the “Nintendo Download”. So maybe that’s what we’ll do here. But what shall we name it? Got an idea? Then send it in or post it in the comment section of this article!

Whew! Ok. Let’s get this thing updated! For DSi Ware there’s 8 titles currently available! One of them is even free, that would be the DSi Opera Browser (which is actually ok I’ve found). Birds & Beans (also known as Pyoro!) for 200 points, Master of Illusion Express: Funny Face magic trick for 200 points, Master of Illusions Express: Shuffle Games for 200 points, Art Style: AQUIA for 500 points, WarioWare: Snapped! for 500 points (I love this one), Brain Age Express: Math for 800 points, and finally the first 3rd part game for the service Mixed Messages from Activision for 500 points (though I don’t get the point of this title since you can play it for free with a piece of paper).

Now on to WiiWare! For WiiWare there’s EQUILIBRIO for 500 points from DK-GAMES, which can be played with the balance board (amusing) and Party Fun Pirate from TOMY Corp where apparently you can stab your Miis with swords. It’s apparently more of a toy than a game.

For the VC there’s… woah… woah… it’s Uncharted Waters: New Horizons for the SNES. My dad apparently had a terrible time finding this game for my brother when this came out on the SNES. There’s also Pitfall: The Mayan Adenture for the Sega Genesis, which I hardly know anything about other than it features Pitfall Harry.

That’s a long update! More details for every title are inside! And don’t forget to send in your ideas for what to calls these updates. Maybe Supa-Digital-Download-Day or something!
