This week’s Virtual Console update includes Kirby’s Avalanche for the SNES, THE LEGEND OF HERO TONMA for Turbografx16, and Streets of Rage 3 for Sega Genesis.I like how THE LEGEND OF HERO TONMA seems to require me to all caps and bold its name. That’s pretty cool.

In a sneaky opportunistic fashion I offer you potential NOA Forums refugees into Bomb-Omb’s community.

Let me be honest here, I’ve only played one of these, and it’s quite possibly the gayest looking one here… not that there’s anything wrong with that. Anyway, this week’s VC Update includes Super Thunder Blade for Sega Genesis, Yoshi’s Story for the N64, and World Class Baseball for Turbografx16.
Gay or not, Yoshi’s Story is a fine game, and as I recall, a great looking one as well. It combines 2D sprites and 3D, something that wasn’t done enough at the beginning of the 3D era. Full details inside.

I have a dual monitor setup that is extremely useful. It’s actually sort of hard to find wallpaper designed for this setup, especially game wallpaper. So, I created my own and have been using it for a bit and decided to host it here.
I know most people don’t have a dual screen setup so I went ahead and made standard 4:3 and 16:9 widescreen versions as well. The dual monitor version is made for my resolutions and you may have to tinker around with it. Feel free to use or modify however you wish.
If you’ve got some drawing talent or perhaps some photoshop skills, you could potentially be interested in this DK Jungle Climber contest. The prizes are DS Lites and a copy of said game, of which there are 8 winners. While that isn’t exactly a mind blowing prize, it’s still a shiny new DS Lite. And you know how much we like shiny around here.
Don’t forget to read the rules, this has nothing to do with us.

This week’s Virtual Console update includes NES Play Action Football for the NES, Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for the Genesis, and Neutopia II for the TurboGraf16. 2 games I’ve played none of and 1 I’ve only played a little. I’ll let you try to guess which ones.
