So you know those “Wii would like to play” commercials? Imagine one of those combined with Metroid Prime 3 footage. The result is like oil and water.

Ok, let’s see what we got. Super Metroid, Super Metroid, and Super Metroid. You know what to do. There’s also Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master for Genesis, and Neutopia for TurboGrafx16
Super Metroid is quite possibly my favorite game of all time. If you’re one who downloaded the first NES Metroid last week to see what all the fuss was about, and was dissapointed either because you don’t know what’s going on or it’s extreme difficulty, I think you should check out Super Metroid.
While Super Metroid is still a hard game, it’s more generous in every aspect than the NES one.

There it is, Metroid for the NES along with Shining in the Darkness for the Genesis, and Cratermaze for the TurboGrafx16.
Be warned if you’ve never played the original Metroid, it’s hard. And if you don’t see Metroid being worth a $5 download because it’s included as an unlock for Metroid Prime on the Cube and Zero Mission on the GBA? Super Metroid is for next week. That’s easily worth $10!

So I was messing around and suddenly discovered that USB keyboards now seem to work on the Wii thanks to today’s firmware update. I’m not sure how compatible is it with all the boards so test it out and post what keyboard you have.
I have a Logitech G15 keyboard that seems to work on the Wii Main Menu, although I can’t get it to work on the Internet Channel (which I hope is fixed soon). Anyone else having any luck?
